The Town Council is seeking a part-time Finance Manager who will manage the finances for the Town Council and Alsager Institute:
Lead the annual budget setting process.
Ensure finance records are maintained in accordance with financial regulations.
Produce regular budget monitoring for Council, Committees and Trustees.
Provide financial management information and input for the Management Team.
Produce year-end financial statements and support subsequent audits and independent examinations.
Manage the staff within the Finance Department, and
Identify and apply for appropriate external funding.
The role is part-time, working 24 hours per week from a Monday to Thursday, based within the Town Council offices in Alsager. The actual salary is £25,054 to £26,926.
