Job Description

Reporting to the VMU Manager, the VMU Administrator plays a crucial role in the day-to-day coordination of workshop administration. They act as a key point of contact between technicians, suppliers, and customers, ensuring smooth processes, accurate invoicing, and excellent service.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30

Salary: £27,560 per annum

Key responsibilities:

1. Process invoices, investigate any issues and resolve invoice queries.
2. Update trailer compliance with outstanding vehicles.
3. Update all necessary trackers to ensure compliance.
4. Raise and process Purchase Orders.
5. Maintain and run reports to cross charge the customer.
6. Schedule trailers and network planners.
7. Liaise with the fleet to align service schedules.
8. Prepare and maintain relevant documentation.
9. General administrative duties and support the workshop team with day to day tasks.
10. Cover for the Workshop Team Manager for holidays and on an adhoc basis.

Qualifications

11. Previous experience within an administrative role.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Good eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
14. Great organisation and time-management skills.
15. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office and Excel.
16. Previous experience with fleet maintenance would be advantageous.
17. Ability to work in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
