Role: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Sutton Experience: 5Years Work mode: Onsite Job Description: Our client is looking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer on an ongoing contract basis to provide support to its large user community along with the deployment of new technology to the business. • This member will be working from office 5 days a week and will be required to travel to other sites on need basis. • The successful candidate will be dealing with support issues escalated from their IT Service Desk function along with providing BAU systems administration and supporting the business on project-based requirements encompassing: 1. Performs installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software 2. Assists in the setup and operation of audio-visual hardware as required by end-user 3. Determine appropriate hardware and software based on corporate policy and end-user requirements 4. Respond to incidents within SLA or within a timely manner with the appropriate level of urgency, and follows up with customers on all issues 5. Disconnects, moves, and reconnects desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user and office moves 6. Roll-out, deploy and upgrade Desktop Devices using imaging tools such as SCCM 7. Assist in administration and maintenance of technology infrastructure components 8. May assist in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of office telephony system 9. Uses corporate incident management system to record and track all support work 10. Maintains accurate hardware and software records for corporate assets Essential Skill 11. Service Now experience, MS Windows 10 & 11, MS Office 365 inc OneDrive, Networking imaging and PXE Boot (SCCM/Intune), Remote support tools, Network patching and cabling, Server room/Comms room experience, Clear communication skills (written and verbal), Excellent time management
