Collector – Lower House Farm (Waste Services Team)
Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the waste services team at Lower House Farm where you will be able to assist in keeping the Borough clean and green and assisting residents to understand waste and recycling.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for emptying wheelie bins from the kerb or residents’ properties, assisting residents with queries and performing other tasks in accordance with the Council’s standards of service.
Working Hours
37 hours per week. Applicants will need a flexible approach to working hours, be willing to start work at 6:30 am, and be able to work outside standard hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Conditions
Appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory criminal records check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. A Basic check will be required (details of convictions and conditional cautions considered unspent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). Applicants must be physically fit, willing to undertake appropriate training, and prepared to undertake other duties when required.
