My client owns 2 deluxe 4 star-hotels offers an exceptional blend of classic charm and contemporary comfort. They pride ourselves on delivering outstanding guest experiences while optimising commercial performance. They are now seeking a dynamic, analytical, and commercially driven Reservations and Revenue Manager to join theteam and lead the strategy for reservations management and revenue optimisation. Job Purpose: To maximise overall hotel revenue through effective management of room inventory, pricing strategies, and reservations processes. The Reservations and Revenue Manager will lead the reservations for both hotels, while developing, implementing pricing, distribution strategies to optimise occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR). Job Description: Reporting to the Directors & Financial Controller responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. • Manage demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the group hotels. • Maximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels, managing inventory and rate accordingly. • Monitor transient and group booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources. • Monitor key indicators of hotel performance and third party intelligence sources to identify revenue opportunities. • Liaise with Reservations, Front Office and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained while maximizing profit. • Play an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan and budgeting processes. • Stay current with industry changes and how it may impact demand. • Prepare and present monthly analytical reports. • Follow departmental policies and procedures. • Previous experience of managing your department in conjunction with front office team. • Ability to work under pressure for budgets/forecasts. • Follow all Health and Safety policies and duties as assigned. • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations. • Excellent grooming standards. Revenue Management: • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimise room revenue, occupancy, and profitability in line with market demand. • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to inform pricing decisions. • Manage the hotel's revenue management systems (RMS) and distribution channels. • Conduct regular business mix analysis and produce performance reports with recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing and Front Office teams to align strategies and business targets. • Manage rate loading, inventory control, and restriction strategies across all distribution platforms. Reservations Management: • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring prompt and professional handling of all enquiries and bookings. • Maintain accurate records of reservations data and ensure optimal room inventory management. • Monitor reservation trends and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. • Ensure all guest bookings and special requests are handled in line with hotel standards and procedures. • Train, develop, and motivate all staff to deliver exceptional service and maximise revenue opportunities. Skills & Experience: • Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star London hotel environment. • Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and distribution channels. • Proficiency in OPERA CLOUD hotel property management systems (PMS) and revenue management systems (RMS) — e.g., OPERA CLOUD, SynXis and Siteminder. • Excellent analytical and commercial acumen. • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment. • Strong IT skills and organisational skills with attention to detail. • A university degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management if possible.
