What you’ll do… Provide proactive support for all the existing Infrastructure and Architecture. You will ensure that the Infrastructure we use continues to be secure, resilient, future proof and fit for purpose. You will work closely with the other IT teams to deliver business requirements and ensure business security and resilience. What we expect from you…. Provide support for fault resolution\escalation, updating calls in the local service desk ticket system in a coherent and timely manner. Undertake root cause analysis of major incidents and service disruption, identifying service improvements where possible to avoid future occurrence. Manage the server estate fully, identifying/decommissioning redundant servers and ensuring existing on-premise servers are migrated to Azure in a timely manner. Support and maintain the availability of core components including network, Wi-Fi, Virtual machines, SAN storage and desktop platforms both on premise and in Azure through proactive system monitoring and reporting. Maintain, manage, and upgrade the Trivallis, data network, firewall and telephony systems. Manage the contracts and on-going relationships with the telecommunications companies who provide services to Trivallis. E.g., Internet/firewall/telephone lines/mobile technology Manage all aspects of our Server Room Operations. Maintain and support the corporate email service using MS Exchange and archiving platform. Secure all Trivallis identities on premise and within Azure Active Directory. Protect Trivallis against Cyber Security threats using the Microsoft suite of services/portals, including Defender endpoint management and device compliance. Verify the integrity of daily backups through proactive support and monitoring. Undertake patch management for servers and desktops using appropriate tools to adhere to the corporate patch management policy. Maintain the security and integrity of the Trivallis on premise and Azure estates using recognised Microsoft software and portals, including anti-virus, encryption, cyber security, mobile device management and certificate management tools. Co-ordinate and deliver change requests, engaging with a range of stakeholders and maintaining an accurate audit trail of documentation. Work with business owners to technically assure projects and change requests ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are clearly communicated. Provide support for corporate telephony services including the contact centre management system. Communicate with vendors to discuss and resolve installation, configuration, support or purchasing queries. Subject to appropriate remuneration terms, perform required support tasks OOH. Keep up to date with new and emergent technologies making appropriate recommendations regarding their use and implementation.
