SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Secondary Schools across Nottinghamshire Are you a resilient, compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting secondary-aged young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a range of secondary schools and specialist provisions across Nottinghamshire, who are seeking SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants to provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help to engage with learning and school life. The Role As an SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils who: Have SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, or challenging behaviour Require 1:1 or small-group support Have EHCPs and personalised learning plans Struggle with emotional regulation, engagement, or confidence You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams to help pupils access the curriculum and develop positive relationships within school.
