Chilworth Partnership are partnering with a high growth Financial Services business on a newly created vacancy. We are seeking a technical expert to perform the role of Head of Financial Reporting, with responsibility for statutory accounting and Group consolidation, regulatory reporting and risk management.
Head of Financial Reporting: Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
* Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital requirements.
* Assess and monitor the firm’s own funds, liquid assets, and risk exposures, ensuring the firm meets regulatory capital and liquidity thresholds.
* Prepare and maintain ICARA documentation, including risk assessments, recovery planning, and wind down analysis.
* Liaise with compliance and risk teams to ensure alignment between financial management and prudential risk management frameworks.
Head of Financial Reporting: Requirement
* Full qualification – ACA or ACCA.
* In depth statutory accounting and financial governance experience.
* Extensive Financial Services industry experience.
* Knowledge of ICARA documentation.
* Strong stakeholder management track record.
