To assist the Ofsted Registered Manager in partnership with both family and other professionals in providing the appropriate care package, ensuring continuity and a consistent approach. To ensure the provision of a warm and homely environment that meets the emotional, physical, cultural, religious and spiritual needs of the child/young adult.
In conjunction with the Ofsted Registered Manager and registered nurses co-ordinate and support the team of healthcare support workers working within the home, to provide a high quality services to the children, young people and their families.
To work under the Childrens homes regulations including the Quality standards (Ofsted)
To plan the children and young peoples overnight stays on a monthly basis, taking into account the compatibility and needs of the young people and their families.
To co-ordinate the teams monthly staff meeting, ensuring staff are allocated time within their contracted hours to attend
Ability to communicate and relate effectively with children, young people and their families, adults and colleagues using a variety of communication systems.
Were an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve peoples physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
