Private PA - UHNW Household - St John's Wood NW8
A great role has arisen for a dedicated and hands-on Private PA to primarily support the wife of this UHNW Principal in a luxurious 7-bedroom residence of the highest standard. You will have excellent Private PA experience of 5 years+ based within a luxury household and work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Excellent references are required.
Experience working at UHNW level with an understanding of the support & standards essential.
A wide and recent knowledge of London and its offerings, including the latest restaurants, shows, and high-end shopping experiences.
Excellent contacts within beauty, styling, and fashion, and your own "little black book" of suppliers/contacts. Experience working with a luxury wardrobe is needed, as this is an important aspect of the role for the Principal. Good-humoured, helpful with a "can-do" attitude, high standards, reporting directly to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities
1. Based in London and meeting the client within the residence or on-site where needed. Flexible and occasionally available outside of normal hours and weekends.
2. Manage a busy & very heavy diary & schedule for all personal requirements, including multiple changes and creating a forward schedule of weekly/monthly and quarterly projects & events.
3. Flag important diary dates & update the Principal regularly.
4. Book all private meetings, coordinating with internal and external parties.
5. Book restaurants, theatres, events, and organise private dinners/lunches & parties.
6. Book all private appointments: medical, professional, beauty, health & fitness/trainers, etc.
7. Arrange extensive national and international travel & transfers, compiling detailed itineraries. A top knowledge of luxury travel is required, with experience managing last-minute changes and contingency plans. Booking private jets, yachts, and luxury accommodation.
8. Research and book holidays and trips, obtaining the best prices within budget.
9. Arrange visas, vaccines, cars, and transportation from departure to arrival at the destination.
10. Manage household staff/rotas, holidays, and recruitment, acting as the bridge between staff and the Principal.
11. Manage household bills, invoices, receipts, and credit card payments, reconciling monthly.
12. Project management and supervision of trades & suppliers for the residence.
13. Monitor expenses and approve invoices; liaise with accountants and lawyers as needed, reporting back to the Principal.
14. Create and update household and lifestyle manuals. Manage private club memberships & renewals.
15. Handle all personal insurances, obtaining quotes for renewals.
16. Assist with pet visits, insurance issues, and follow-up for two small terriers.
17. Manage client's gift lists and oversee procurement and purchasing of gifts.
18. Liaise with stylists and personal shoppers, run errands.
19. Assist with wardrobe & personal shopping. Maintain an inventory of high-value items.
20. Organise and plan events/parties, dealing with caterers, menus, florists, and coordinating with the Principal.
21. Assist with schooling matters, tutors, after-school activities, and birthdays for the teenage child of the Principal.
22. Perform ad hoc duties as needed.
The role is to start in July when the family arrives from the USA to take up residence in London.
