Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant ready to step up? A forward-thinking primary school in Aston is looking for a Senior Inclusion Worker to take on a key support role within their inclusion team. This full-time, long-term position offers the chance to work closely with pupils with a range of complex needs including Autism, Non-Verbal communication, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health challenges.

This is a hands-on role where you'll not only support pupils directly, but also provide guidance to other support staff, help coordinate provision, and liaise closely with the SENCO and external agencies. For the right candidate, there is potential for this opportunity to become a permanent position.

In this role, you will:

* Provide expert 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC, NV and SEMH
* Support with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Use communication tools such as PECS, Makaton or visual schedules
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions
* Mentor junior support staff and contribute to provision planning
* Work in partnership with class teachers, SENCO and therapists

You’ll need:

* Strong experience in a primary SEND support role
* Confidence supporting complex needs including ASC, NV and SEMH
* Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills
* A calm, patient approach with a passion for inclusive education

Why Work with Long Term Futures?

* No day-to-day supply - full-time consistency in one school.
* A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
* Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.
* Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.

Next Steps - Our 4-Step Process

* Apply - Submit your CV via the application page.
* Initial Call - Our team will discuss your experience and preferences.
* Trial Day - Experience the school before making a decision.
* Start Work - If the school is the right fit, you're ready to begin.

All applicants will need a valid DBS and two references to be considered for a trial day.
