Internal Sales Manager (Construction/Building Materials)
£33,000 - £38,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression
About the Internal Sales Manager role
This role is with a building materials manufacturing client. You will be reporting to the Commercial Director, and you will manage the internal sales functions, and support current customers with queries and specifications whilst working alongside side operations and the estimating team.
Internal Sales Manager responsibilities
•Achieve agreed sales targets.
•Manage, nurture, and grow existing and new accounts.
•Customer contact and care through communication and visits (when needed).
The Internal Sales Manager will work with clients on:
•Technical support where and when appropriate
•Preparation of quotes/sampling
•Liaising with various manufacturing units (Operations, Customer Service, Estimating, Production & Finance)
•Customer visits when required.
•Working alongside the customer service team to ensure customer support is maintained at the highest level
Knowledge and Experience
•Ideally, knowledge of Building materials and processes, although training will be provided.
•Strong communication skills both written and oral
•Competence in IT is essential
•Self-disciplined and a strong desire to achieve
•Proven commercial instinct and ability
•The ability to work under pressure and achieve targets and deadlines
•Essential to function both as an individual and part of a team

•Sales experience – 3+ years – essential
