Housekeeper | Manchester | Theatres | Full time | Permanent | Night shift only | 37.5 hours per week | £11.48 per hour + enhancement on weekends and unsocial hours
Spire Manchester Hospital is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working hours: 5 shifts over across 7 days - Monday to Sunday on a 4 week rolling rota - Monday to Friday 6 pm till 2 am and on weekends 2 pm till 10 pm. Please only apply if you can commit to this!

As Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Complete cleaning schedules in Theatres
2. Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
3. To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
4. Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH
5. Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post
Who we're looking for:
6. Whilst no formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environment
7. Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environment
8. Good communication skills
9. Ability to establish rapport with all customers
10. Able to work as part of a team
11. Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
12. Maintains high standards
