With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.
We are seeking an experienced credit controller to join our finance team. Thesuccessful candidate will be confident and comfortable speaking with customers and working efficiently and to deadlines.
Hours: 8.30-5pm, Monday-Friday
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience).
Location: Based from Head Office in GL2 7ND
Responsibilities for the job role:
* To assist in the preparation of daily banking sheets & accurate posting of BACS/Faster Payments/PDQ
* Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
* Monitor customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions with customers regarding payments.
* Prepare and send out monthly customer statements and reminder letters.
* Collaborate with the sales team to resolve payment disputes and issues.
* Conduct credit checks on potential customers and review existing credit limits.
* Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable and aging balances.
* Review new account applications received and providing necessary information for an appropriate credit limit.
* Allocate account terms in a timely manner.
* To assist in the management of commercial account Stop List.
