* Multiple childrens homes currently operating across the Midlands, with additional homes opening in the near future
* Homes supporting children aged 518with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)and learning disabilities (LD)
* Services range from 1:1 to 3:1 staffing depending on individual needs
* On-site therapeutic support is embedded in every home
* Some homes offer integrated education provisions

About the Role
The Registered Manager will lead and manage a childrens home, ensuring high-quality care is delivered consistently. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture that prioritises safety, respect, and the wellbeing of young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the homes staff team to deliver high-quality care
* Ensure care plans are personalised to meet the unique needs of each young person
* Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards, including safeguarding procedures
* Support staff training and professional development
* Manage day-to-day operations and oversee administrative requirements
* Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
* Embed therapeutic approaches across all aspects of the home
* Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Experience managing a childrens residential home (minimum 1 year)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Knowledge of EBD and/or LD residential care
* Understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
* Ability to foster a positive, therapeutic, and child-centred environment
Desirable:
* Experience with integrated education provisions
* Experience in developing or opening new childrens homes
