Job role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start date: ASAP or September start
Location: Wandsworth
Salary: £100-105 daily rate
Schedule: Monday-Friday, term-time only (no weekends)

About the role:
Our specialist SEN primary school is dedicated to pupils with hearing impairments and complex communication needs. We create a nurturing, language-rich environment that promotes confidence, independence, and lifelong learning. Our commitment to inclusive communication includes providing full British Sign Language (BSL) training up to Level 3 for all staff.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, youll work closely with pupils and teachers to:
Support children with hearing impairments and/or communication challenges
Assist in delivering personalised, communication-focused learning plans
Use or learn British Sign Language (BSL) to support access to learning
Foster emotional and social development through positive relationships
Were Looking For:
Psychology graduates or individuals with experience/interest in SEN
A strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
A team player ready to embrace training and guidance
Commitment to inclusive and child-centred learning
