This role is instrumental in ensuring that all Conference and Banqueting operations run successfully and in line with all guest requirements. A hands-on position where you are expected to not only manage the team but also work alongside them, leading by example and demonstrating luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure expectations are exceeded at all times in all areas of C&B and F&B.
2. Support operational teams in delivering exceptional standards in C&B.
3. Lead and oversee events, remaining hands-on within this busy food and beverage operation.
4. Maintain consistent department standards, especially in the absence of the C&B Manager.
5. Ensure all events are executed to our standards.
6. Perform duties efficiently to achieve overall objectives, following company policies and procedures.
7. Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a warm welcome, thorough briefings, and follow-ups to check satisfaction.
8. Handle challenging guest situations effectively, offering alternatives and communicating appropriately.
9. Work as part of a team, constantly evaluating, training, and improving the guest experience.
10. Assist the C&B Manager in team welfare, motivation, recruitment, and development.
11. Support training initiatives to maintain high service standards.
12. Ensure team presentation is impeccable at all times.
13. Manage staffing levels to meet business needs, especially in the absence of the C&B Manager.
