Long-term contractEmpowering Learning are currently working with a lovely primary school in Newham who are seeking a warm and pro-active Administrator/Receptionist for their school office.
This will be a full-time role starting in September 2025 until the end of the school year with the view of being extended. The role would suit a candidate who is organised, good at communicating and building relationships and has a friendly yet professional manner.
The school is a four-form entry primary school based over two sites. It is an inclusive and vibrant learning environment with a welcoming senior leadership team.
As an administrator/receptionist, your day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Greeting children, parents and visitors and helping them navigate through the school
Maintaining safeguarding procedures
Answering telephone calls
Responding to emails/admin tasks
Sorting mail
Taking photocopiesYou will have the following:
Have previous experience as a receptionist and or administrator
Ideally school based experience, however this is not a necessity
Have experience in using SIMS software
