We are pleased to be working with a strong and forward-looking secondary academy in the Nottingham area that is seeking to appoint an Art Teacher for January. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level Art / Fine Art / Mixed Media.
About the Role
You will deliver inspiring and technically ambitious art lessons across multiple year groups, helping students develop artistic skills, aesthetic awareness, and creative independence. The Art & Design department encourages experimentation, cross-media practice, and student-led projects. There is also scope for you to lead extra-curricular clubs, exhibitions, and community art partnerships to enrich students’ learning beyond the classroom.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Art, Design & Fine Art
* Can teach GCSE and/or A-Level (or show clear potential to develop this)
* Is creative, well organised, supportive, and committed to helping students excel
* Has the legal right to work in the UK
