Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship - Rural (Oxford)

An opportunity to join our Oxford Rural team, gaining hands‑on experience and building your career as a Surveyor.

* Role title: Apprentice Surveyor - Rural
* Location: Oxford (11 West Way, OX2 0QL)
* Salary: £22,500 - £24,000 (DOE) + £1,000 sign on bonus
* Start Date: Monday 7th September 2026


About the team:

This role offers the chance to join a friendly, energetic Estate Management team with a varied workload spanning retained management and strategic consultancy. You will be part of the Oxford Rural team, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary office supported by the extensive expertise and resources of the wider Savills network. The position involves working closely with both institutional and private clients in a professional, supportive environment.


Day to day duties:

* Contribute to delivering high‑quality client service across a diverse rural property portfolio
* Support the management of rural assets including residential, commercial, agricultural, and sporting assets
* Help identify and implement opportunities to enhance and diversify clients’ estates
* Coordinate and oversee compliance, maintenance, and refurbishment activities
* Assist with lettings, lease renewals, and rent reviews for a range of property types

Training:

On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully. 5 year training programme (Level 6 Apprenticeship), which includes a part time undergraduate degree (4 years) and an APC training programme (2 years, enrolled at the beginning of your 3rd year at University) leading to qualification as a Chartered Surveyor (RICS).

Once you've successfully passed your APC and become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you'll continue to receive training and career development opportunities.

We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training, as well as specific training relevant to your role.

We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.

Working Week:

Five full days in the office, working hours 9:00am to 5:30pm. One of these days each week will be dedicated to apprenticeship studies whilst in the office.


Assessment for this role:

* Application Form - CV and question (applications close at 9am on Monday 16th February)
* Online Assessment – SHL (will be sent on application completion and will need to be completed by 12pm on Monday 16th February)
* Screening Call & Presentation (between Monday 9th March – Friday 13th March)
* Assessment Centre & Interview (Thursday 9th April) in London Head Office (33 Margaret Street, London, W1G 0JD)

Entry requirements:

* GCSE English and Maths at Level 4 (Grade C) or above is a mandatory requirement and you may not apply if you are currently studying for or already have a degree. You will also need a minimum of 96 UCAS points.
* You must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office you are applying to.
