Are you a skilled and motivated B1 Licensed Engineer with a passion for aviation and operational excellence? AirTanker is looking for experienced professionals to join our Line Maintenance team, supporting our mission-critical operations both at home and on deployment.
As a B1 Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the airworthiness of our fleet, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards in line with regulatory and company requirements. You’ll work closely with the Shift Supervisor and Line Station Manager, taking ownership of aircraft maintenance activities and leading engineering teams both at base and deployed locations.

Key Responsibilities
* Certify aircraft servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of authorisation.
* Supervise and support technical staff, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.
* Manage documentation and certification entries for aircraft under your control.
* Lead and motivate teams, promoting a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
* Support AOG recoveries and flying task deployments at short notice.
* Act as the lead engineer during deployed operations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including Part CAMO and military partners.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* CAA B1 Licence with A330 Type Rating and current company authorisation.
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience in a line maintenance environment.
* Strong understanding of Airnav & Envision systems.
* Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver results under pressure.
* Experience in deployed operations and AOG recovery coordination is highly desirable.
