Raes Auto Services is a busy, well-established independent garage and MOT station based in Prestwick. We're one of the few independent garages that invest heavily in up-to-date diagnostic equipment and tooling, giving our technicians everything they need to work confidently across a wide range of vehicles — including motorhomes. *The Role*
You'll be carrying out all types of mechanical and electrical work across all makes and models, including light commercials. We also carry out habitation checks and motorhome maintenance, so experience in that area would be a real bonus. MOT certification is an advantage but not essential.
*What We're Looking For*
We need someone who is fully time-served, punctual, polite, and of good character. We'd also consider an exceptional third or fourth-year apprentice who is keen to develop their skills. *A minimum of three years' hands-on workshop experience is preferred.*
*You'll also need:*
* A full UK driving licence
* Your own tools
* City & Guilds Automotive or equivalent qualification
* The right to work in the United Kingdom
* Reliable commute to Prestwick KA9 2TA (or plans to relocate before starting)
*Hours & Pay*
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Saturday morning overtime available as and when required. Good rates of pay depending on experience.
