Those Huge Small Victories

Our Teaching Assistants are fulfilled by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, celebrating these 'huge small victories'. While they may seem small, they collectively make a big difference.

Get out what you put in

You will work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your role is to support their learning, development, and self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, and the reward is witnessing their progress.

It can be challenging, but the positive steps forward are rewarding. As a Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group, you'll receive support, well-resourced environments, and opportunities to build a rewarding career.

One of the best environments in SEND

Hinckley House school, a state-of-the-art SEMH primary school opening in Autumn 2024, will be well-resourced and supported to ensure the best outcomes for every child. We seek inspirational staff to help us deliver excellence.

What we do for you

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, including:

* Full induction and on-the-job training
* Paid school holidays
* Opportunities for career progression within the group
* Flexible benefits, such as life insurance options
* Wellbeing tools and employee assistance
* Medical cover for optical, dental, and other expenses
* Excellent working environments and facilities
* £1,000 bonus for each friend you refer
* Contributory pension scheme (up to 5%)

Bring your whole-self to work

Our diverse young people and workforce thrive when everyone is authentic. You should have:

* A positive, team-oriented attitude
* Experience in a classroom (training provided if not)
* A passion for supporting children's learning
* Enthusiasm and the ability to collaborate with teachers and therapists

Interested in joining us?

We believe in providing the best for our young people and our teams. You deserve a purposeful career in an environment where you can be yourself.

The Witherslack Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare. This role requires an enhanced DBS check (cost covered) and online search. We welcome applications from all community sections.
