This pivotal role will ensure robust financial planning, effective management of operations, and compliance with regulatory standards — all while driving continuous improvement in systems, controls, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Lead on financial reporting, year-end accounts, and audit preparation. * Manage cashflow, VAT returns, asset registers, and procurement processes. * Support budget managers and improve financial systems. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. About You: * Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) or equivalent experience. * Strong background in accounting, reporting, and systems management. * Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaborative working style. * Sector experience in FE is desirable but not essential.
