This is a full‑time vacancy on night shifts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional, and social well‑being of our residents. This includes personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, as well as helping with daily activities in the home.
You will deliver care that comes from the heart – ensuring residents maintain their individuality. Whether you are supporting someone with limited mobility, comforting a distressed resident, or providing compassionate end‑of‑life care, you will always put their wellbeing first.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day personal care, including washing, dressing, hygiene and meal assistance.
* Support residents with daily activities, encouraging independence and dignity.
* Assist with mobility, positioning and transfers as required.
* Deliver compassionate end‑of‑life support when necessary.
* Use simple digital care‑planning tools to record and share care information.
* Communicate and collaborate with nursing and other staff to maintain a seamless care environment.
Safeguarding
All staff must attend safeguarding training and be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect. You are expected to report concerns appropriately and seek advice from the appropriate channels.
Qualifications
Full UK right to work is required. Experience in care home or similar setting is preferred. Willingness to learn and use digital care‑planning tools is essential.
