Maths Tutor
Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maths Tutor to join our team in Oxfordshire, South East England. As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mathematics education to students. This is a temporary, part-time position requiring excellent communication and teaching skills.
Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students
* Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised tutoring plans
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Provide feedback to students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts
* Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Demonstrated expertise in mathematics education
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics
* Deep understanding of the UK national curriculum for mathematics
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Mathematics Education
* Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
* Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching platforms

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
