Offer description

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days working from home)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Rendesco is the UK's leading heat pump and heat network business. We design, build, fund, own and operate heat networks and heat pump systems that help to decarbonise our homes. Our unique low cost and low carbon heat solutions make it possible for new-build developers, social housing providers and homeowners to switch away from gas quickly, affordably and at scale.

We have an ambitious five year plan to become the UK's leading end-to-end low carbon heating platform - combining funded heat network ownership, market leading design and installation capability, a growing operations and maintenance business, and a proprietary technology stack including our own ground source heat pump, heat interface unit, smart controller and homeowner app.

This is more than just a job. Joining our team now means helping to shape our growth story and play an active role in decarbonising one of the UK’s most crucial sectors. We’re proud of our dynamic, open culture, flat hierarchy, and diverse team, united by passion, purpose, and a drive to deliver exceptional results.

Decarbonisation should be easy, and we make it effortless.

* Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Manage tenders, framework agreements and supplier performance.
* Coordinate logistics and site deliveries to ensure projects remain on schedule.
* Raise purchase orders, maintain procurement systems and support budget reporting.
* Provide pricing feedback to Sales teams and drive continuous improvement across procurement activities.

About you

* Proven procurement or supply chain experience within construction or a related sector.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills.
* Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Comfortable using procurement systems and managing documentation accurately.

Qualifications & Experience

* Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction, Engineering or a related field preferred.
* MCIPS qualification desirable but not essential.
* Minimum 4 years' procurement or supply chain experience.
* Experience working with construction suppliers is essential.
* Mechanical and Electrical procurement experience would be advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering, supplier management and contract negotiation.

What's in it for you?

* Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Discretionary performance-related bonus
* Private Medical Insurance after probation
* Company pension scheme
* Hybrid working – 2 days per week in our London office and 3 days working from home
* Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice and Cycle to Work Schemes
* Quarterly Social Fund (£50 per quarter)
* £30 monthly phone allowance
* Further training, qualifications and development opportunities
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Be the change. If you’re ready to put your skills to work on meaningful projects that help power a cleaner, greener Britain — we’d love to hear from you.
