About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs, you will help deliver targeted support and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. SEN TA Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN. Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Encourage pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social interaction. Use strategies to manage behaviour and de-escalate situations calmly. Collaborate with teaching and support staff to adapt lessons as needed. Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the SENCO. Support pupils’ personal care needs, if required.
