We’re looking for a confident, relationship-driven Account Executive to lead the way in managing and expanding a portfolio of mid-sized commercial clients. You’ll be the face and voice of insurance for your clients – forging trust, strengthening loyalty, and identifying opportunities for growth.
This is your chance to step into a role where your contribution matters. With the support of dedicated broking, admin, finance and claims teams, you’ll deliver tailored insurance solutions that protect businesses and empower your clients to thrive.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage and grow an existing book of commercial clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
* Develop strong, long-term client relationships by becoming their go-to insurance partner
* Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximise value for clients and drive revenue
* Win new business – from your own networks, client referrals and opportunities you create
* Coordinate renewals in collaboration with Broking Managers and adhere to internal processes
* Ensure all client documentation is complete and compliance standards are met
* Support claims analysis and management in partnership with our in-house claims team
* Regularly travel to client sites and regional offices across the UK
What you’ll bring
* Solid knowledge of general commercial insurance products and FCA guidelines
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Commercial acumen and a consultative approach to client partnerships
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A collaborative mindset – you're great with clients and colleagues alike
* Previous experience in an Account Executive or client-facing insurance role is essential
