Knightwood Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our well established and committed Learning Support Team. The role will be varied and will include regular whole class teaching commitments, 1:1 interventions, class support and responsibility for leading a variety of group interventions.
An ability to support across KS2 is essential.
The Salary displayed is the actual salary received for working 26hpw, term time only. The fulltime equivalent salary is £27,780 - £30,563
We are looking for someone who:
* has experience of covering KS2 classes and is able to take over a class at short notice
* has experience working 1:1 with children and carrying out high quality interventions across the ability range
* Grade A-C or 4-9 GCSEs or equivalent required in maths and English
* understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
* is calm, confident, and has an approachable manner
* is nurturing and kind and able to promote the school's values and ethos
* has high expectations of all children and themselves
