A property management opportunity exists for a part-time, autonomous professional to manage a cluster of shared houses in Oxford. You will be responsible for all aspects of tenant relations, property operations, and financial oversight, ensuring high standards and smooth running of the portfolio. This role suits someone confident working independently and capable of treating the portfolio as their own. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Manage all property operations for shared houses, including inspections, maintenance coordination, move-ins, and move-outs Maintain full occupancy via viewings, renewals, and tenant retention Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed properly and within budget Monitor rent payments, chase arrears, and approve contractor invoices Prepare monthly financial summaries including income, expenses, and exceptions Ensure deposits, invoices, and receipts are logged and reconciled Maintain property compliance with HMO safety and council regulations Handle emergencies, tenant call-outs, and serious incidents when required Keep tenancy and property records accurate and up to date What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Prior experience managing HMOs or shared properties Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision Strong organisational and operational skills Confident with financial management and reporting Excellent communication and tenant management skills Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of making independent decisions Car and full UK driving licence essential Comfortable balancing both operational and financial responsibilities What's In It For You?
