My client is looking for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join their team in Isleworth on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package: £42k + Van + Fuel card.
General Overview:
To work as a Mechanical engineer. This role involves providing reactive and planned maintenance, replacements, minor works, and lifecycle management. The role primarily maintains HVAC systems, manages the site’s BMS, and oversees daily operation of cooling towers.
Responsibilities:
* Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in electrical and mechanical engineering.
* Complete reactive tasks and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure availability of consumables and provide parts lists and time estimates for remedial works.
* Complete all relevant paperwork/CAFM for planned and reactive activities promptly.
* Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safety.
* Develop good working relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
* Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing uniform and PPE.
* Keep plant rooms clean and tidy.
* Supervise and monitor subcontractors during on-site electrical and FM tasks.
* Arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover, and work flexibly.
* Undertake lone working when required, after passing training.
* Complete assigned tasks effectively.
* Adhere to contractual KPIs/SLA’s.
* Keep CAFM system updated; close out PPM and reactive tickets accurately.
* Support the team with additional tasks as directed.
* Support emergency situations to ensure business continuity.
* Respond promptly to requests and produce quotation information.
* Assist Helpdesk with reporting and updates on activities.
* Be available for out-of-hours call-outs if needed.
* Obtain necessary technical appointments (e.g., LVCP, Water Hygiene CP).
* Produce condition/dilapidation reports for fabric assets.
* Immediately inform supervisors of dangerous circumstances.
