An opportunity has arisen to join the ICT Applications Support and Training team. As an ICT Applications Support and Training Officer, you will support all departments across the council, providing high-quality applications support and training within the ICT Operations department. Your role involves ensuring customer requests, incidents, and problems are swiftly addressed to deliver reliable, cost-effective ICT services meeting customer expectations as per SLA agreements.
Your responsibilities include monitoring, supporting, and triaging customer requests; escalating complex issues; maintaining data integrity; assisting in testing environments; supporting team leads and seniors; creating and updating documentation and training materials; and delivering training via face-to-face and virtual sessions.
Practical skills in corporate applications such as Office 365, Paris, ICS, Swift, Mosaic, SharePoint, and SAP are advantageous. Experience in delivering training, working to best practices, continuous service improvement, and problem-solving within an ITIL framework are essential.
This challenging but rewarding role is suited for a motivated, disciplined individual who demonstrates proactivity, workload prioritization, excellent communication, customer service skills, attention to detail, and ownership capabilities.
