About the Role
As a member of our driving team, you will be the public face of Royal Mail and an established part of the community. Much of your day will be spent driving, including collecting bulk mail from major customers and Post Offices and transporting mail between our Mail Centres and Delivery offices at prearranged times. You will be loading and unloading your van and sorting it into correct onward distribution.

About You
Upbeat and self-motivated, you\'ll be happy working alone or as part of a team and getting to know the people on your round. You should have a strong sense of community, enjoy flexible shift patterns, and like outdoor work in all weather. There is walking involved in every round, so you should be comfortable with regular physical activity. Some experience in a customer-facing role would be ideal.

* Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and around walking on rounds.
* Flexible with shifts and community-facing responsibilities.
Driving Licence Requirements
A C1 Category licence (at your current UK address) with no more than 6 penalty points is essential; ideally a clean licence is preferred. You will be required to show this at assessment. You must have obtained your Periodic Driver CPC (CPC) qualification and hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) with 35 hours of training. You will also need to present your Digital Tachograph Card if selected for assessment.

Pay and Benefits
You will be paid weekly, with overtime and shift allowance if applicable.
Salary: £602.60 per week pro rata
Hours of work: Permanent contracts, 38 hours per week across various shifts.
