The Role
As a Senior Associate in the Private Client team, you’ll work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, advising on probate, estate administration, tax planning, and trusts. You’ll play a key role in managing complex probate matters, supporting clients through sensitive and technical issues with empathy and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handling probate and estate administration, ensuring clients’ wishes are carried out smoothly.
• Advising on inheritance tax planning, succession strategies, and trusts.
• Drafting and reviewing wills, lasting powers of attorney, and tax-efficient structures.
• Managing and resolving disputes related to estates and trusts.
• Leading client meetings and collaborating with financial advisors and tax specialists.
• Mentoring and supervising junior team members, supporting their development.
What You’ll Need:
* A qualified solicitor with 4+ years of private client experience, specialising in probate and estate administration. If you have slightly under 4 years but have a solid knowledge within the private client field please do apply and we can discuss.
* Strong technical knowledge of inheritance tax, wills, trusts, and estate planning.
* Experience managing complex and high-value estates.
* A passion for client service, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to mentor junior team members or assist with complex matters
