Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager to join a leading engineering supplier.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will work remotely, responsible for driving new business development and managing key accounts across various industries, selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions covering Hampshire + Berkshire. You will focus on selling fluid power products, including pneumatic systems, actuators, valves, cylinders, MRO, hydraulics + associated products.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will have experience in sales of pneumatic components, hydraulics or similar fluid power products. Full product training provided.
Package:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Manage and grow existing key accounts, developing strong relationships with customers through distribution channels and OEMs.
Generate new business opportunities, focusing on the sale of Pneumatic and Hydraulic products, as well as other Fluid Power solutions, including Valves, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, Vacuum Systems, Blowers, Motors, and more.
Conduct fluid power product demonstrations, attend exhibitions, and negotiate sales to meet and exceed targets.
Collaborate closely with the Service Department to ensure high standards of after-sales service are maintained.
Cover the South East of the UK, regularly visiting clients, attending meetings, and ensuring strong client presence.
Hybrid role, on the road 3-4 days per week. (office-based near Basingstoke)Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Requirements:
Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role in an engineering environment.
Experience with Fluid Power products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, Valves, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, Vacuum Systems, Blowers, Motors, or similar mechanical engineering products is also highly desirable.
Strong business development skills, with a focus on customer relationship management and expanding key accounts.
A high level of enthusiasm, determination, and motivation to succeed and grow within a reputable engineering distributor.
A technical mechanical Engineering Degree is advantageous but not essential.
A full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel in Berkshire + Hampshire
