An established UK based MSP is seeking an AWS Cloud Migration Specialist to design and lead large-scale migrations of on-prem workloads to AWS.
This role blends hands-on migration delivery, network & security design and governance of cloud landing zones to ensure repeatable, secure and cost-effective cloud adoption.
AWS Cloud Migration Specialist Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end AWS migration design and delivery (apps & data).
* Architect secure multi-account Landing Zones (AWS Orgs, SCPs, Control Tower).
* Design AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN).
* Define migration runbooks, cutover/rollback strategies, and IaC templates.
* Use migration tools (Application Migration Service, DMS, CloudEndure, Snow).
* Embed governance/security (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty).
* Mentor teams, run workshops, and contribute to bids/RFPs.
AWS Cloud Migration Specialist Key Skills Required:
* Proven enterprise AWS migration experience.
* Strong AWS networking & landing zone governance.
* Hands-on with Terraform/CloudFormation & CI/CD.
* FinOps experience is essential
* Security/compliance knowledge (IAM, GuardDuty, KMS).
* Strong stakeholder & workshop leadership.
