Service Design professional
with solid
GDS and public sector experience
to join a super high-performing
User-Centred Design (UCD) team
here in Leeds

What you'll be doing
Leading end-to-end service design:
You'll scope, shape and deliver impactful service design across a variety of programmes, guiding projects from early ideation right through to implementation.
You'll be the go-to expert:
Trusted by senior stakeholders, you'll champion user-centred design, cut through ambiguity and bring people on the journey while keeping everyone aligned and bought in.
Drive collaboration & impact:
Work hand-in-hand with delivery managers and clients to remove blockers, solve challenges and ensure projects don't just run smoothly, but also deliver real value.
Shape the future of UCD:
From mentoring junior team members to evolving the design strategy and community, you'll play a big role in pushing forward how they deliver user-centred design.
What you'll need
* Extensive experience of service design and UCD approaches - This is a lead role so ideally you'll have been working at that level or ready to take that step up
* Demonstrated application of service design methods and tools
* Experience coaching, mentoring or managing UCD/design teams
* Familiarity with GDS service standards and assessments, with experience running discoveries and Alphas to GDS service standards
