Pay: £13.50 – £16.20 per hour
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and proactive Mental Health Support Workers to join our established team in Andover. This service is dedicated to empowering individuals with diagnosed mental health needs to progress from long term placements towards a more independent and self directed lifestyle.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting residents on their recovery journey, enabling them to develop the skills, confidence and coping strategies required to manage their wellbeing in a positive and sustainable way. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for candidates who are committed to person centred support and outcome driven care.
Both day and waking night positions are available.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high quality, person centred support that promotes recovery, independence and choice
*
Support individuals to develop daily living skills and build confidence in managing their own mental health
*
Assist with or administer medication in line with company policy and training
*
Contribute to the development and ongoing review of Risk Assessments and Support Plans
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement agreed support strategies and best practice approaches
*
Maintain accurate, clear and professional records
*
Follow all organisational policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective service delivery
*
Promote a safe, structured and positive living environment
Please note: This role does not involve personal care.
Working Hours
Days:
*
4 shifts per week, 9 hour shifts (8:00am – 5:00pm and 11:00am – 8:00pm)
or
*
3 shifts per week, 12 hour shifts (8:00am – 8:00pm)
Waking Nights:
*
3 shifts per week, 8:00pm – 8:00am
All roles include an expectation to work two out of every four weekends.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who:
