* JOB TITLE: Maintenance Controller
* SALARY: £36,225
* LOCATION: Watford
* HOURS: Full-time
* WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week, or 60% of our time, at our Watford office. During the training period, we ask new starters to be in the office 5 days a week until they are competent and fully trained unless an exception is requested whereby we will adapt and support
About This Opportunity
As a Maintenance Controller you’ll be responsible for the co‑ordination of vehicle repairers and our suppliers to ensure a cost‑effective process and a great customer experience.

What You’ll Need
* Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles (Cars & LCV’s) both combustion engine & electric vehicles.
* Experience of working in a manufacturer’s franchised dealership in both workshop & service desk environments.
* Strong customer service orientation & telephone negotiation / persuasion skills.
* Excellent communication skills with a confident and polite telephone manner.
* Experience of working in a cost approval & audit function either in a lease co. or other similar organisation.
And Any Experience Of These Would Be Really Useful
* The first point of resolution for vehicle related topics e.g. Breakdown, SMR, Tyre replacement, downtime management.
* Ensuring calls are answered within required timescales, complete worksheets, monitor downtime cases, Tyre approvals and any other team activity is dealt with efficiently.
* Manage, approve and audit all SMR (service, maintenance & repair) and Tyre requests ensuring adherence to the Tusker Maintenance Policy.
* Ensure all transactions are approved at the lowest possible cost price to Tusker.
