Make UK is seeking skilled electrical professionals to join their team in providing essential training to the next generation of engineers. This role involves mentoring and guiding Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices, developing and delivering education in engineering subjects up to level 3, and teaching qualifications including Pearson BTEC National Diplomas, EAL Vocational Awards, and City and Guilds.
Applications are welcome from industry professionals interested in transitioning into education; training will be provided. Responsibilities include developing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, creating course materials, delivering practical training, fostering a motivational learning environment, and assessing learner progress.
Required experience and skills include:
* Time-served apprentice or relevant qualification (City and Guilds part 3, Technical Certificate, or higher)
* Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desired)
* A1 and V1 certifications (desired)
* Industrial experience and knowledge of current industry standards (desirable)
* Good presentation and communication skills
