Relief CCTV Controller
Location: Waltham Abbey, EN9 1XE
Job Type: Flexible cover/standby role (NIGHT SHIFT ONLY)
Pay Rate: £14.00 (Last minute calls - £15.00)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights)
MUST HAVE:
* SIA CCTV Licence
* CCTV Licence
What you'll do:
* Monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity, security breaches, or health & safety hazards.
* Respond to alarms and incidents in real time, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
* Maintain detailed logs of CCTV activity, incidents, and system faults.
* Work to company policies and operational procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
* Co-ordinate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies during emergencies or security breaches.
Experience:
* 0 - 2 Years experience with CCTV as a Control Room Operator or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Operating CCTV Systems: Basic understanding of how to use control room equipment, including switching between cameras, zooming, playback, and recording.
* Monitoring Multiple Screens: Ability to stay focused and observe several camera feeds simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
* Incident Detection & Reporting: Experience (or training) in identifying suspicious behaviour, safety issues, or rule violations, and accurately recording and reporting incidents.
* Operating CCTV Systems: Basic understanding of how to use control room equipment, including switching between cameras, zooming, playback, and recording.
