Applications Engineer – Water & Wastewater Projects Delivery Team
Support our Business Development team in delivering engineered quotations and project services for valves, penstocks, fittings, and installation services across the UK Cleanwater, Wastewater & Hydropower industries.
About the Role
Graduate engineers will work at our Kilmarnock facility, gaining hands‑on experience in technical engineering, design and commercial project support. You will be part of a growing team delivering essential engineered commercial solutions throughout the UK.
Further Responsibilities
* Support the Business Development Market Segment Lead in delivering valve and hydromechanical gate projects.
* Assist with mechanical technical reviews of drawings and tender documentation.
* Help prepare quotations and coordinate project documentation.
* Liaise with customers to ensure full technical compliance with project requirements.
* Liaise with AVK Group suppliers to offer a full suite of engineered project solutions.
* Participate in on‑site surveys to understand project complexities first hand.

About You
* A degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
* Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
* Familiarity with CAD tools is an advantage but not essential.
* An aptitude for commercial activity is an advantage.
