An excellent opportunity for a proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale refurbishment project in the North East.CompanyAn established main contractor.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager by managing on-site quality assurance, ensuring works meet project specifications and compliance standards. Experience with Field View for digital quality tracking is essential.Key Responsibilities:Assist in day-to-day site operations, focusing on quality control and assurance.Use Field View to monitor, document, and report on quality issues and site progress.Conduct inspections, snagging, and manage close-out procedures.Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure standards are met.Support the Site and Project Manager with health & safety compliance and programme coordination.Maintain accurate site records and quality documentation.RequirementsExperience in a site-based role within construction or refurbishment projects.Strong working knowledge of Field View software.Good understanding of construction quality standards and procedures.CSCS card (essential); SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred).Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.RemunerationAn attractive salary and benefits packageThis is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Notice and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
