Adept Dental Laboratory is a well-established dental laboratory based in Bury St Edmunds. We are currently seeking an experienced GDC technician who is looking to take the next step in their career, we are looking for a new Technical Lead to join our friendly and professional team.
Lead and manage all aspects of production, including overseeing all work that is manufactured in the Laboratory. Ensuring that appropriate quality checking is completed up to the stage of being signed off by a GDC Registered Technician.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage workflow to ensure all appliances are designed on schedule
* Allocate case loads to technicians in each department to optimise skillsets and utilisation.
* Communicate with Laboratory Leader to ensure staffing levels are maintained to appropriate levels as well as any other department needs.
* Provide advice and technical solutions to technicians in department on problematic cases to achieve high quality outcomes.
* Identify training and development opportunities for staff, including new members of the team.
* Responsible for quality control of all work within the Laboratory, pre-sign by GDC registered technician.

Knowledge or experience in dental technology is required, and full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working with their hands.

* Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
