Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a Yardman with a forklift licence to join one of clients who are a prestigious haulage company. You will be loading/unloading the lorries manually and with the forklift. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate and you will be covering sickness/holiday on a Class 1 lorry.
Responsibilities
1. Load/unload lorries with a forklift
2. Monday to Friday starting between 05:30 and 07:30
3. Ensure compliance with driving regulations when you’re driving the lorry
4. Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.
5. Make sure loads are secure.
Qualifications/Experience
6. You must hold a valid forklift CB licence
7. You must hold a valid Class 1 licence
8. Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
9. No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
10. Would need to live within 10 miles of the workplace in Lingfield
11. Good navigational skills
12. Right to work in the UK
