Accounts Assistant \n\nLocation: LS12 - Outskirts of Leeds City Centre - parking \n\nHours: Full or part time will be considered a minimum of 3/4 days \n\nThe Role\n An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a small and successful business, supporting the finance function while playing a key role in cost control, cashflow management and day-to-day office operations. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration and wider business support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinance & Accounts\n\nMonitoring daily bank activities and processing data using SAGE50\n\nCompleting bank reconciliations accurately and on time\n\nProcessing petty cash, payments and cash handling\n\nPreparing and managing payment runs\n\nPreparing quarterly VAT returns and submitting to HMRC\n\nManaging credit control activities\n\nMaintaining purchase ledger and sales ledger using SAGE and Clarity\n\nDaily processing of sales invoices on Clarity, including scanning and filing\n\nAssisting the external accountant with weekly payroll preparation\n\nSupporting the external accountant with year-end accounts, queries and final submission\n\nCost ...
