We are pleased to offer this exciting job opportunity. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the Clinical Imaging Management Team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of the CT service across multiple sites.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensure professional and technical standards are maintained by regularly reviewing practice in accordance with local and national policies and guidelines.
2. Work as part of a team providing flexible service delivery, including a 7-day and out-of-hours CT service.
3. Be accountable for the CT radiography service and manage the daily delivery of the service, prioritising workload and ensuring high standards of patient care.
4. Manage the community-based CT service across Cornwall, overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of patient care.
5. Collaborate with Team Leaders in other modalities within Clinical Imaging to optimise staffing resources.
6. Lead supervision and operational management of radiographers, assistant practitioners, clinical imaging assistants, and students within CT at RCHT and community sites.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Radiographer or DCR or equivalent
* Registered with HCPC or other professional body with evidence of CPD
Experience
* At least 5 years post-qualification experience in an Imaging Department
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
* Good organisational skills
* Experience in team management and HR processes
* Proactive in learning and development
