As Head of Corporate Finance, you will be working for a public sector organisation that operates across the East Midlands region.
Your new role
As Head of Corporate Finance, you will provide strategic leadership across the whole Corporate Finance function. You will drive excellence, strengthen governance, and ensure the financial strategies and statutory obligations are delivered to the highest standard. You will lead the development and delivery of the Medium Term Financial Strategy, providing oversight of capital and revenue monitoring, and ensure the financial planning, accounting and reporting frameworks remain robust and fit for purpose. You will lead a small team of Financial Accountants, and work closely with the Head of Financial Services, to ensure seamless financial operations.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as being a fully qualified accountant, you must have operated as a finance leader in a local authority or complex public sector organisation, and have experience leading on year-end accounting.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of up to circa £83K, and a very generous holiday allowance and pension scheme.
