University of Warwick is offering an apprenticeship opportunity in the Department of Philosophy for the role of Assistant Programmes Apprentice. The position involves administration of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, providing information and assistance to staff and students, and contributing to a positive student experience.

The role involves increasing independence and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless delivery of educational programmes within the department. The apprentice will participate in training and development and work towards the completion of the apprenticeship within the agreed timeframe (usually 24–30 months).
About You
You do not need prior familiarity with universities or academic departments. The ideal candidate is committed, keen to learn, and able to work within a supportive team. You should have:
* Education to GCSE level standard or equivalent
* Proven IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
* Excellent time management and ability to balance studying with work
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Willingness to support the wider team and participate in student events (e.g., Welcome Week, inductions, Open Days, graduations)
